Destiny 2 Glitch Grants Unlimited Nova Bomb Super to Warlocks

Mayhem has returned to the Destiny 2 Crucible, but with it also comes a glitch that is giving Warlocks an unfair advantage by providing them with infinite Nova Bombs.

The glitch was discovered just a day after Mayhem made its return to Destiny 2, as a part of the game’s holiday festivities. Everything concerning the glitch has been documented in a Reddit post by user DefenderEchoaz, where they lay out how the glitch works and provide a video of it in action.

To initiate the glitch, Warlocks will first need to switch to the Voidwalker subclass and wait until their Super meter to become full. Then, while overcharging a grenade, they simply initiate their Super. What should happen is it will cancel out the charged grenade, throw a Nova Bomb, and the Super meter will remain full. The poster suggests moving Supers to a single button, rather than multiple, is required for this to work properly.

While we want to make Destiny 2 players aware of the glitch, we certainly don’t recommend exploiting it for wins in the Crucible. Aside from disciplinary action that could result from this, it’s just bad sportsmanship. Bungie has likely caught wind of the issue by now and is hopefully working on a fix.

Mayhem saw its return to the Crucible as a part of the game’s holiday event called The Dawning, which kicked off yesterday. To celebrate the event, the Tower and the Farm have all had their halls decked and snow effects have been added to give it that extra bit of holiday atmosphere. Snowballs can be found everywhere, even in Strikes, where players can use them to dole out damage and slow down enemies. Additionally, loads of Dawning-themed items and legendary armor can be acquired during the event, and players can earn extra goodies by completing event-specific milestones.

For those Guardians who want to get a little gift for themselves, it’s been revealed that the Sagira Ghost Shell can be acquired by completing all of the Lost Prophecy Verse weapons. As the name implies, this exotic Ghost shell looks identical to the one Sagira uses, the same shell players encountered at the beginning of the Curse of Osiris storyline. The shell offers extra perks for Guardians venturing around Mercury.

Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
